COMMUNITY INITIATIVES

 

WOMEN VETERANS NETWORK FOR ENTREPRENEURS PROGRAM (W.V.N.E.)

Start-up and Existing Women Veterans Entrepreneurs Program

Initiative to promote a safe place for women entrepreneurs for economic independence & networking online. The program facilitates professional partnerships, entrepreneurial guidance, networking, quarterly speakers, and chat forums.

BE MINDFUL (Mental Health and Suicide Awareness)

Volunteer / Partnering with other entities that aids and or provide awareness of Mental Health and Suicide. This can be accomplished by making the community aware that Mental Health has several levels and understanding that Suicide can affect everyone in one aspect or another.

DOMESTIC ABUSE & BULLYING (D.A.B.)

Abuse and Bullying Awareness & Support Program

A program to support and provide awareness for those who have been exposed to traumatic situations such as bullying, homelessness, loss of life, domestic abuse.

​

DIAMOND YOUTH AND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

A program to instill Lioness strength, vision, hope, sisterhood, self-confidence, self-motivation, and self-discipline. As well as promoting public service to include mentoring and networking and strive for intellectual enrichment. A yearly fundraiser will be held to provide nominated Seniors with a Sigma Theta Military Sorority Incorporated Academic Achievement Scholarship.
